After searching for years for that Dentist that you have a great rapport with and that you can trust, we came across Dr. Nishan Dixit. We have been with him now for over 8 years and couldn’t be more satisfied. Not only is the quality of treatment we receive there great, but the friendly staff are more like an extended family making you feel comfortable at all times and —always providing a “reminder” call and doing their best to accommodate our busy schedules.
He is the only Dentist we have ever had that we actually look forward to seeing. He makes the treatment pleasurable because of his great sense of humor and excellent work.
We hope to be his patients for many years to come.
Very Very happy with the work done on my teeth recently . Bridge work was outstanding ! Will definitely recommend to others. Very good value for money. Thank you so much.
I recommend this practice , especially for people like me who have been traumatized by dentists in the past…and really, it doesn’t hurt.!!
My Dental Experience by Elizabeth
Once I had decided to go ahead, with having 10 new upper crowns; I discussed with the whole procedure with Dr Dixit.
We decided on the shape and the new colour, of the crowns to be fitted. He informed me of any problems that may occur, wither during the preparation procedure or after the crowns had been fitted. I worried about the day that I would have the preparation work carried out on my teeth.
On the day, the work on my teeth lasted for quite a few hours and although the procedure was uncomfortable it was not painful. Even though I also had some old metal crowns removed at the same time.
Dr Dixit spent time, making me some temporary teeth, that looked excellent and I was very happy to wear them for 2 weeks, whilst the new crowns were being made.
I had the new crowns fitted 6 weeks ago and I am very happy with the result and have had no problems!
Letter of Thanks from Elizabeth
Dear Dr Dixit
Thank you for my excellent new 10 upper crowns. I am very happy with my new teeth and all the treatment carried out on me.
All the procedure was explained to me fully, before I decided to go ahead. I was very nervous about going ahead, fear of the pain I would encounter.
I need not have worried at all!
Best wishes Elizabeth
Dear Dr Dixit
I write to express my satisfaction with the whitening procedure you carried out on my teeth. I am very pleased with the result. My teeth still look very natural, yet I can see the improvement in colour.
The cleaning and scaling process has helped to keep my teeth and gum healthy. My white fillings are still looking good. Thank you for all the advice I have received. Both you and your Staff ensure that a visit to the dentist need not be a daunting experience.
Yours faithfully Eileen
A Bridge Too Far?
The initial process of removing the two upper bridges went smoothly and painlessly. Then followed a period of time for the upper gum to heal up. When this was completed, following some x-ray photos of the upper jaw, the main part of the procedure took place. It involved, in my case, the exposure of the whole upper gum to reveal suitable sites for the implants. It was decided on two groups of three implants, a group on either side. The implants were “tapped” in with a hammer, although the term “tapped” is a little misleading, as at times quite some force was required. I was left afterwards with a light, dull headache which soon receded and a rather sore upper gum for a few days which was tolerable.
A temporary upper denture was provided but it was at least a week before I could use it. Despite manufacturers claims about the adhesives needed to secure the denture, there were days when the denture became loose and needed to be cleaned and refixed. The stitches were removed, accompanied by a faint “tickling” sensation. Again, when all had healed up, the implant sites were opened up and the implants tested. Three on one side were secure, but the other three had failed. These were removed and grafting material inserted.
The soreness of the gum this time was much less, there being much less of the gum cut open. Again, another period for healing followed. Later, after a suitable time for the grafting to be completed, that site was opened and three new implants were fitted.
Finally after impressions had been taken, the new bridge arrived to be tested for fit, and to check the teeth colour compatibility- all O.K., so off they went, back to the Dental Technician for completion.
At last came the day when the new bridge was cemented in place. I found that I had to be careful with hot drinks since the hard palate had become used to being protected by the temporary denture and several times I burnt the newly exposed hard palate. It also took a little time to get used to the new feel of the bridge, both in size and position. Also a new sensation as saliva can pass under the bridge, giving it an almost “surreal” feeling.
As part of my income comes from professional singing, I was very relieved to find that the new bridge hardly affected my singing, although “F’s” and “S’s” sounded a little different. The main benefit was a new secure bridge, and no more messing about with denture adhesives!
Dear Dr Dixit
Just a card to thank you again for our treatment last week. David is fine. We got home, he took a couple of painkillers and has not had pain since- drinking of “real” coffee is back to normal! I am delighted with my replacement crown. Thanks to Maggie for her ministrations.
Dear Dr Dixit
It is now a half a year since you completed my dental implant (just in time for my daughter’s wedding) and I want to write to you to express how happy I am with the outcome of the procedure. The implant feels like a normal sturdy tooth and I have total confidence while eating, lecturing or speaking. I am also very pleased not to be dealing with denture plates and the associated adhesives. Although the denture looked quite natural, I always felt (rightly or wrongly) that it interfered slightly with my elocution. The implant, on the other hand, feels exactly like having all your own teeth and doesn’t interfere with speech in any way.
I am very appreciative of your clear explanation of the procedure and your professional ability in completing the process. The initial preparation of the jawbone went very smoothly and caused me very little discomfort. The fitting of the tooth at the end was also done quickly and effectively. The Osseo integration stage needs patience so that the tooth fitting integrates properly with the jawbone. I am not the most patient of people, but it certainly was worth the wait. Throughout the process you and Maggie were both very encouraging and supportive.
In short, I am delighted and appreciative of your professional ability and guidance.
Thank you. Best wishes for 2006.
There is a team called Manchester United,
Over which many people get very excited,
But I know a team with much more appeal,
So full of humour and professional skill.
We are so lucky to have Blue Court at hand,
With Nishan and team always there to understand,
And make us feel happy - humming like bees,
So thank you Nishan you’re a team so united,
To make all your patients so really delighted!
Dear Dr Dixit
You have been my dentist now for over eleven years and in that time the treatment I have received has been caring and of good quality.
In the past year you have undertaken 1 extraction, 3 root canal treatment and created 2 bridges. This treatment has obviously been traumatic for me, but in all of this, you and your staff have provided me with a service that not only met my dental care needs but also provided me with the level of care and comfort that comes from an excellent level of service and for that I would like to thank you.
To Dr Dixit
Your kindness meant more than you could know, or more than a ‘thank you’ could possibly show.
Many thanks for your patience, consideration, reassurance and kindness. I was such a coward but now I have gained your trust, I am not so afraid.
God Bless, Hazel
Dear Dr Dixit
I am sure you will be pleased to hear how delighted I am with my new denture plate.
It has made such a difference to me since I was embarrassed with my natural teeth looking dark and unattractive.
Now with the denture, which is comfortable to wear, I can face people and feel more confident when speaking to them.
Thank you for your care, it really is great to be able to smile again.
I am writing to thank you and your team for looking after me with my recent treatments. A great smile can make a huge difference to the way you look, and is a real confidence-booster, unfortunately I was deprived of this due to an accident 35 years ago.
Although I did have some treatments during the years to have this fixed, but it was made possible only through your kind suggestions and expertise. My new crowns combined with the whitening system carried out on the rest of my teeth have given my confidence back.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Blue Court dental practice to anyone who wants the old-fashioned courtesies combined with the cutting edge technology of a modern dental practice.
