Shambika Qualified from The Eastman Dental Hospital in 2018 where she spent 3 years training and left with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy.

She has experience in management of hygiene patients in hospital settings and has now transferred over to provide care in general practice.

Shambika takes great pride in working in an environment that puts patients at ease and enables them to understand and choose the pace of their treatment where required.

She especially enjoys being able to communicate and understand her patients needs. This is highlighted in her work as a therapist where she enjoys providing care for very young paediatric patients.

Shambika has enjoyed experience in Oral Health Promotion at local primary schools and public shopping centres.

She has worked and trained alongside Professor Needleman who is a specialist in periodontics and carries out research into the periodontal field.

She is particularly keen to provide a positive experience to patients both clinically and holistically in order to help them manage their oral health.

This is aided fully by the great support from the team.

She is also fluent in English and Tamil

In her spare time she enjoys music, art, reading or working out at the gym.
